The second open casting of "Miss Ukraine - 2021" participants took place the other day in the shopping and entertainment complex "Nikolsky." More than 100 girls showed up to try their luck.
The casting process was divided into several stages. Finally, a qualified jury chose the most deserving applicants. These girls advanced to the next round of the selection process.
Veronika Shchiptsova, head of the pageant committee, Margarita Pasha, "Miss Ukraine - 2019", Emilia Shah, "2nd Vice-Miss Ukraine - 2017", and Tatiana Makushenko, director of the Sharm modeling agency, were among the jury members.
External parameters, such as the ability to behave on stage and in front of the camera, as well as the ability to navigate in various situations and provide interesting answers to a wide range of questions, were used to evaluate the participants.
“We take the selection of participants very seriously because Miss Ukraine is a role model for all Ukrainians: intelligence, education, beauty, and moral values. The victor will represent Ukraine on the international stage. “This is a huge responsibility, and not just a beautiful cover, so we do a lot of preparation with all the show participants,” says Veronika Shchiptsova, chairman of the pageant’s committee.
As a reminder, the Top-25 Ukrainian women will compete for the title of "Miss Ukraine-2021," an exclusive crown, and a cash prize on October 21 at the Palace of Ukraine.
