The National contest "Miss Ukraine" has been held annually since 1991. During these years the final of the National contest was one of the most exciting and spectacular events nationwide, took place on the main stages of the country at a high technical, cultural and organizational level, attracting attention and interest of millions of spectators and viewers. Over its 26-year history the contest "Miss Ukraine" has become a starting point for a lot of Ukrainian women who have achieved success and realized themselves thanks not only to the victory but also participation.
The guests of the show will be the first to learn the name of the girl who will become the "face" of our country and will represent Ukraine at the most prestigious international beauty contest "Miss World" among the beauties of more than 120 countries worldwide. The beauty contest "Miss World" will be held in December, in Washington, DC, the live broadcast of which is annually viewed by more than 2 billion people. In addition to the honorary title of "Miss Ukraine", two more girls will become the owners of not less honorary titles – Miss Ukraine International 2016 will represent Ukraine at the contest Miss International 2016 held under the auspices of UNICEF in October in Japan. Miss Ukraine Earth 2016 will represent Ukraine at the contest Miss Earth 2016 held under the auspices of the UN in October in the Philippines. Participation in beauty contests was a great start for a glittering career of the world-famous beauties like Michelle Pfeiffer, Sharon Stone, Eva Longoria, Oprah Winfrey, Sophia Loren, Aishwarya Rai, Kim Basinger and others.
The organizing committee of the contest "Miss Ukraine" is preparing a spectacular world-class performance about the natural beauty of women from the best Ukrainian stage director Oleh Bodnarchuk. 25 most beautiful women aged 17 to 24 and representing different regions of Ukraine, who were selected from more than 15,000 contestants and succeeded in the multi-stage national casting, will bid for the title and the crown of "Miss Ukraine 2016". The total prize fund of the contest "Miss Ukraine 2016" will be 700 000 hryvnias!
